Wales could provide a great opportunity for golfing fans to enjoy the sport while on holiday.
Professional golfers - and those who pursue the sport for fun - are increasingly turning to Wales to indulge their pastime, according to an expert.
The spokeswoman for Visit Wales said the fact that this year's Ryder Cup competition is taking place in the nation could boost the trend even further.
Finding a place to stay should not be difficult - boutique bed and breakfasts have proven popular among tourists, as have five-star hotels, cottages and yurts.
"Every year, more beautiful accommodation opens up and there are more places to choose from than ever before," the official continued.
The arrival of the aforementioned tournament marks the first time it has been played in Wales - this year it will be held at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport on October 1st until the 3rd - but people have been golfing all over the country in recent years.
Dame Shirley Bassey and Katherine Jenkins will take to Cardiff's Millennium Stadium stage on September 29th as part of celebrations surrounding the event - Catherine Zeta Jones will also be in attendance.
Sporting enthusiasts should ensure they have sufficient holiday insurance to cover them should the worst happen while they are away from home.
Indeed, they might be pleased to hear that US Ryder Cup captain Corey Pavin has hinted that Tiger Woods could appear as part of his team.
He stated that he is looking forward to visiting Wales and is "honoured" to be selected to head the team from across the pond.
