Kenya has coastline, rainforest, golf resorts and cultural cities to explore.
Travel insurance policyholders heading on holiday to Kenya should be sure to check out the country's coastal resorts.
Angie Sloan, Kenya Tourist Board UK director, suggests the Mombasa region is a particularly good place to visit.
"Whether you are looking for a cultural city experience, world-class diving, unique wildlife safaris or lush rainforest to explore, Kenya's coast has it all," she says.
Culture vultures will be pleased to see the array of traditional experiences in the Old Town, which is rife with Arabic influences and has a plethora of ancient architecture to view.
This could be visited during a day trip, or might provide an exciting change for those on a beach holiday, Ms Sloan suggests.
Rainforest borders the seaside areas, so those keen to see a host of species should be content to know that there are baboons, rare colobus monkeys and leopards in the greenery around Mombasa.
But the coast itself could provide plenty to enjoy for visitors, as it is described by Ms Sloan as a "tropical paradise".
The reefs contain coral, myriad fish, dolphins and sea turtles, as well as stunning white sandy beaches and rich blue waters to gaze into.
This experience can be teamed with a spot of activity, as Ms Sloan reveals the country is a "leading golf destination", with the Leisure Lodge Beach and Golf Resort in Diani Beach one of the best destinations to head to for a challenging course.
Data from the Kenya Tourist Board claims UK arrivals for the first quarter of 2011 show a cumulative increase of more than ten per cent compared with the previous year.
