Enjoy an 'eco-friendly' safari in South Africa
People preparing to head to South Africa on safari could look at the potential of staying at an environmentally-friendly resort such as the Imbali Safari Lodge.
According to the Examiner, the lodge not only offers the classic safari experience for which South Africa's Kruger National Park is renowned, but it has also been designed along eco-friendly policies to ensure a green stay in the park.
"The lodge has been designed according to eco-sensitive policies, ensuring little impact on the natural environment," the publication explains, adding that the main activity for visitors staying at the lodge is an uninterrupted view of a wide variety of wildlife in their natural surroundings.
Among those creatures that can often be spotted from the comfort of the resort are African elephants, black rhinoceros, Cape buffalo, leopards and lions.
People travelling to the Kruger National Park are advised to take out comprehensive travel insurance before travelling and should ensure that wildlife activities are covered by the policy, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office states.
