Dubai is a popular holiday destination among Britons thanks to the fact that it offers something for everyone, it has been suggested.
Britons flock to Dubai in their droves because the emirate has something for everyone to enjoy.
This is according to the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), which says that the Middle Eastern destination has a plethora of things to see and do for people with a variety of interests.
Shopaholics can explore Dubai's many stores and markets, while sun worshippers can laze on its beaches and families can take the kids to a number of child-friendly attractions, a spokesperson for the organisation said.
It additionally offers many tours and activities for those with an adventurous bent - although
holiday insurance may be advisable for these travellers in particular.
"Over the next few years, the emirate's bold and progressive attitude to growth will see a whole host of additional development initiatives open to offer an impressive portfolio of exceptional facilities," the DTCM remarked.
According to the DTCM, the UK and Ireland together represent the biggest source of tourists for Dubai.
Almost 197,000 British and Irish holidaymakers headed to the emirate in the second quarter of the year, accounting for nearly 11 per cent of all tourists visiting the region.
