Winter weather is causing travel chaos across the UK and those with
Eurostar reservations may find their journey delayed by two hours.
The cross-channel trains are subject to speed restrictions as a result of adverse conditions and operators expect a restricted service to be in place for the rest of this week.
Anyone with bookings for today (December 20th) from London St Pancras should not attempt to travel, as Eurostar is not able to take any more passengers and may not have additional capacity until tomorrow.
However, the travel chaos is not restricted to the UK, as return legs are equally prone to delay. The carrier has suggested anyone expecting to depart from Brussels or Paris check in one hour before their service is due to leave and expect to wait for the next available train.
Meanwhile, in the UK, holiday insurance policyholders expecting to travel during the next few days may face misery as a result of revised train times.
National Rail has issued service updates for many of the UK's operators, so passengers should check the website to ascertain whether their journey is likely to be disrupted.
Many services between London Kings Cross and Leeds have already been cancelled by East Coast Trains, as were this morning's services from Edinburgh and Peterborough to the capital.
Anyone trying to reach Bristol Temple Meads from Manchester Piccadilly on a CrossCountry service will have to make alternative arrangements from Birmingham New Street, where journeys are terminating.

Met Office has predicted more heavy snowfall across the UK, so commuters could be in for further misery as the days go on.
