Caravan manufacturers are constantly upping their offering to holidaymakers.
The popularity of caravanning and camping holidays in the UK and across Europe could continue to grow over the next few years, as manufacturers of the ever popular mobile holiday homes continue to develop their products to meet the demands of their customers.
According to Jon Dale, PR manager at The Camping and Caravanning Club, there are constant updates in the caravanning world, with manufacturers always being on the lookout for ways in which they can keep up to date with the latest crazes and developments of the 21st century.
This could improve the already hugely popular market for caravan holidays, which is still growing year on year, as more travel insurance customers opt to take their own transport and accommodation on holiday with them, as a result of the tightening financial conditions.
"Despite these tough economic times, camping and caravanning continues to be a popular pastime and we expect to build upon the success of 2011 by encouraging more people to enjoy the richer way of life by spending time with loved ones in the great outdoors," said Mr Dale.
The Camping and Caravanning Club reported recently that it had seen an increase in the number of new members over the last three years in particular, with the number of new members growing in each of these 12 month periods.
Mr Dale said that those who are sceptical about moving into the world of caravanning because of misconceptions about it should go to a in industry trade show to see how the manufacturing of caravans has developed over recent years to involve more technology and other advances.
