The impressive landscape of Canada is always breathtaking, according to survival expert Ray Mears.

travel insurance however, as the celebrity cautions that traversing the often cold, rugged landscape can be arduous.
Writing for the Guardian, he states that the countrys history is intertwined with the landscape and the country was opened up and discovered using bushcraft and woodsman's skills.
In places this remains a barren land - inhospitable and bitterly cold, year- round - but at the same time it is teeming with bounty, in nature and in the cultures of the people who inhabit it, he comments.
Mears goes on to say that the country is the worlds second-largest after Russia and boasts more than two million lakes - around one tenth of the world's fresh water.
During October and November, visitors to Canada will be able to see more than a thousand polar bears migrate to Cape Churchill on the shore of Hudson Bay.
