Holidays offering great value for money will rise in popularity next year, it has been predicted.
Britons looking to save money on their breaks will increasingly search for budget sojourns and all-inclusive package holidays in 2010.
This is according to predictions made by Teletext Holidays, which says that "pound-stretcher" getaways to locations such as Tunisia, Turkey, Thailand, Egypt and other hotspots outside of the eurozone will rise next year.
It advised travellers to keep an eye out for holiday deals offering extras such as resort credits and sun dollars.
Searching for cheap
travel insurance could also be beneficial for holiday budgets and may save money should Britons fall ill or lose their luggage while abroad.
"We're seeing some clear holiday trends emerge for 2010, including a massive rise in all-inclusive breaks as people seek to manage their budget in advance," commented Mark Bloxham, head of marketing at Teletext Holidays.
Non-eurozone destinations became more popular earlier this year after the pound plummeted against the euro, making holidays to countries such as France and Spain more expensive.
Cheap
holiday insurance from Direct Travel Insurance could be one way to keep total holiday expenditure down.
