Britons are more likely to go on holiday this year than in 2009 thanks to an easing financial situation, according to one expert.
UK citizens will likely go on holiday more this year than they did in 2009 as a result of the overall financial picture getting better.
This is according to Lucy Huxley, editor of Travel Weekly, who says that those who skipped their main holiday last year for money-related reasons look set to be intent on going away in 2010.
She predicts that destinations outside of the eurozone, such as Turkey and Egypt, will continue to be popular this year.
"There are also some great deals to family favourites such as Florida and Spain as hoteliers and travel companies encourage customers to book early," Ms Huxley adds.
