Journey Latin America has explained why Brazil is becoming increasingly popular with Brits.
Brazil is a popular destination for UK travellers because of its party atmosphere and easy accessibility, according to a travel company.
Journey Latin America has highlighted the unique people, food and culture of the country, which is attracting a wider variety of UK travellers to Brazil for the first time.
According to figures released by STR Global last week, Rio de Janeiro was the only city of seven reviewed in a report to experience monthly demand growth in 2009.
The Post Office also reported earlier this month that sales of the Brazilian real reported a 350 per cent increase year-on-year in March.
Laura Rendell-Dunn, marketing manager at Journey Latin America, explained the ticket prices are also declining because of increased demand.
She said: "Brazil gets a lot of positive media attention. It's known to be the country where [people from Rio] love to party and they've got that carnival atmosphere."
Britons heading to Brazil might want to consider buying
holiday insurance for financial protection in the event that a flight is delayed or cancelled.
