Be transported to ancient Peru with an "unforgettable spectacle"
If travellers have taken out South American travel insurance for a holiday to Peru this summer and autumn, they could be in for an "unforgettable spectacle".
According to Journey South America, a theatre company will be performing a "visual spectacle" inspired by Cirque de Soleil and Andean tradition at the Cusco Garcilaso theatre in the country until November 15th.
The performance will include acrobatics, folklore, dance, songs and special effects to transport visitors into ancient Peru.
"For a truly wonderful night out while you are in Cusco come and see the Kusikay Company performing this unforgettable show," said the travel operator.
Cusco is situated in the Huatanay River Valley in the south-east of Peru.
Some of the visitor attractions of the region include Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail, the Sacred Valley and the Vilcabamba Valley.
Cusco itself is home to Spanish homes and architecture that is built over Incan foundations as well as some important archaeological sites.
