Bargains are available 'like never before'
There are many deals to be found on last-minute travel breaks as figures reveal Brits are still heading overseas.
Bob Atkinson, travel expert at Travelsupermarket.com, said: "People who are travelling are snapping up air travel and holidays at prices we have never really seen before."
"There are still a good number of bargains, especially on long haul-travel," he added.
Spain and Greece were also places that Mr Atkinson suggested people could find a good deal.
According to new statistics from the Association of Independent Tour Operators, 77 per cent of Brits surveyed said they planned on travelling in the same way that they have done in previous years.
However, the Post Office reported recently that 23 per cent of travellers would consider not taking out any holiday insurance to save money.
Travel insurance can be bought right up until the last minute and will not cost any more the closer it is to the trip.
