Hotel prices in Europe remained largely steady over the last month, according to Trivago.
New figures have revealed that the average price of European hotel rooms stayed steady at £93 per night over the course of the last month.
Statistics collected by Trivago and reported by TravelMole show that the most expensive city to stay in was Geneva at £177 per night, followed by Oslo at £142, Milan at £139 and London at £126.
Average costs saw increases of only one or two per cent in most of the UK's major cities, with some remaining the same or declining compared with the previous month.
However, those booking accommodation in Dublin are likely to have seen an 18 per cent increase in the average cost of hotel rooms, with the overnight price standing at £103 ahead of events like the Six Nations rugby tournament.
Hotel prices fell in 34 of the top 50 cities compared with 2009.
