The region has entered into a partnership with four operators in the UK, designed to showcase the range of activities on offer.
The numerous activities that can be undertaken while on holiday in Atlantic Canada are to be emphasised thanks to a new partnership between the region and Audley Travel, Experience Holidays, Bridge & Wickers and Tailor Made Travel.
Pursuits that those with
holiday insurance can enjoy include exploring Prince Edward Island, national parks, world heritage sites and sandy beaches, while sampling seafood and gasping in wonder at the natural fjords - and all this just five hours from the UK.
Booking a trip with Audley Travel, for example, could see
single trip insurance holders familiarise themselves with Louisbourg, a national historic site and the Cabot Trail, all part of what has been dubbed the Lighthouse Route.
And Bridge & Wickers offers a 14-day self-drive "adventure" that will see vacationers come face to face with friendly people, lovely accommodation and "unique and colourful architecture".
It could also be entertaining to pay a visit to the Aviation Museum, which, owned by local volunteers since 1977, claims to be the largest of its kind east of Ottawa.
