All-inclusive holidays are becoming more popular as they offer an easy way of managing travel costs, it has been suggested.
Britons are increasingly looking to all-inclusive holidays as they allow them to see all costs upfront before heading abroad.
This is according to Thomson and First Choice, which say that consumers are more focused on getting value for money as a result of the economic downturn, prompting them to book more all-inclusive breaks.
A spokesperson for the two companies said that demand for such holidays has increased by 30 per cent in the last five years.
This "reflects the rising number of consumers who demand to know the cost of their holiday up front and budget accordingly", she explained.
Last month, Thomas Cook chief executive Manny Fontenla-Novoa told the Telegraph that he believed all-inclusive deals "are back in fashion".
He said that consumers now see that package holidays in overseas locations can offer good value compared with domestic breaks.
A recent study by PricewaterhouseCoopers indicated that a growing number of Britons are using the internet to hunt for the best deal when it comes to booking a holiday - which may include searching for low-cost
travel insurance.
