Acacia names top stress-busting holidays
Acacia Adventure Holidays has drawn up a list of the top three best holidays for relieving stress.
An article on the Focus on Travel News website gave an overview of the stress-busting vacations, which are situated in Morocco, Namibia and Botswana.
The Morocco recommendation is the Bougmez Valley climb, which takes travellers on a tour of the Atlas Mountains, 200 kilometres to the east of Marrakech.
Meanwhile, Namibia visitors are advised to head to Spitzkoppe, Damaraland, another rock climbing hotspot, where again they should be able to put the strain of working life behind them.
The "watery paradise" of Okavango Delta is the top tip for adventurers in Botswana; "an ideal excursion for anyone looking to plug themselves back into the natural world".
Those travelling to a foreign country should always check their holiday insurance policies to find out exactly what activities they are covered for, according to the Financial Services Authority.
