TONGO HIT BY FURTHER EARTHQUAKE

The 6.3-magnitude quake today (Friday) was the latest in a series quakes that have rattled the region this week, spawning tsunamis and leaving several hundred dead. The epicentre was at sea about 55 miles (85 km) southeast of Hihifo, Tonga, at a depth of about 6 miles (10 km). This quake did not trigger a tsunami warning, according to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre.
