Bomb detonated at the residence of the head of Thailand's Supreme Administrative Court

A bomb was detonated at the residence of the head of Thailand's Supreme Administrative Court in Bangkok on 21 October 2008. The official's residence, located in the Lad Prao district, sustained minor damage in the attack; however, there were no casualties. Investigators suspect that the blast -- which may have been caused by a low-impact bomb or a large firecracker -- was intended to intimidate rather than cause casualties or significant damage.
