BORDER MEASURES INCREASED IN RESPONSE TO SWINE FLU
01 Jul 2009
Swiss officials announced on 29 June 2009 that they are increasing border controls over A/H1N1 swine flu concerns. A total of 54 cases of the virus have been registered in the country. The new regulations will require that passengers entering Switzerland complete a health questionnaire. They also allow health officials to medically examine passengers thought to be carrying the virus.
