Security will be heightened for Independence Da

The 61st anniversary of Sri Lankan independence is on the 4th February. Heightened security and road closures are expected on and around this date, particularly in central Colombo. In the past, a number of security incidents have taken place at this time of year and you are therefore advised to remain vigilant.
