NEW (A/H1N1) SWINE FLU CASES CONFIRMED

The South African Health Ministry reported 11 new cases of the A/H1N1 flu in the country on 6 July 2009. All 11 cases reportedly involve university students who recently stayed in the same residence hall for a sports event in Gauteng. The students came from different parts of the country and all reported mild symptoms. The total number of confirmed A/H1N1 cases in South Africa is now 29, but there have been no reported fatalities from the virus
