SUICIDE ATTACK ON PEACEKEEPERS BASE

Two suicide bombers have struck at an African Union peacekeepers' base in the Somali capital, Mogadishu. It is reported that two white vehicles with UN logos, but packed with explosives, drove in to the basea nd exploded causing several casualties. An Islamist al-Shabab spokesman has said that the attacks were in revenge for a US raid which reportedly killed an al-Qaeda suspect this week.
