    The Ski Resort
Tremblant has been transformed from a locals’ hill to being the leading destination ski resort in this part of the world. A cute purpose-built village has been developed in the style of old Quebec. Buildings in vibrant colours line narrow, cobbled, traffic-free streets and squares, and it has a very French feel to it.

    The Ski Slopes
In its small mountain area, Tremblant has a good variety of pleasantly wooded terrain. A heated gondola takes you to the top, from where there are good views over the village. A high-speed quad brings you back, and on the South Side (really south-west facing and so good for the afternoon sun), you can go right back to town on blue or green runs. Canada’s east coast doesn’t get as much snow as the west, but around 75 per cent of the trails are covered by snowmaking. Grooming is excellent. At weekends there can be queues, but they tend to move quickly. We found crowds on the main run back to the village more of a problem.

    Après Ski
Mountain restaurants are limited and can get crowded – many people go back to town for lunch. Eating out is not a problem, neither is après-ski, and there is often live music and a good atmosphere in the main square.

We'd like to wish you an enjoyable holiday in the snow and please don't hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any queries regarding your insurance cover.
