Internal political situation is precarious

A group of Sierra Leonean military officers calling themselves the Detective Reconnaissance Emergency Action Mission Team (DREAM Team) has threatened the nation's government with a coup. They allege corruption and favouritism within the nation's armed forces. Government and military officials are looking into the recent threat and are also conducting an investigation into the DREAM Team, which is said to be comprised of approximately 850 soldiers throughout various branches of the military.
