Passenger hijacks aircraft

Emerging reports indicate that a passenger on a domestic flight en route from Adler on the Black Sea coast to Moscow claimed to have hijacked a commercial Boeing 737-500 aircraft on 24 October 2008. He reportedly demanded that the aircraft divert to Vienna; however, the status of the flight is not known. It was scheduled to land at 1745 local time (1345 UTC) at Vnukovo Airport (UUWW/VKO), where multiple emergency vehicles have been deployed.
