Travel insurance for less than the price of a glass of wine

The newly redeveloped Direct Travel Insurance website offers customers the possibility of purchasing Bronze Single Trip travel cover for up to five days from £3.03 per person.

This allows travellers to plan a short break anywhere in Europe, as well as in Turkey, Tunisia and Morocco, with the added essential protection of the travel insurance cover that they need.

• £1,000 for hospital benefit
• £200 for emergency dental treatment
• £15,000 for personal accident
• £2,000,000 for personal liability
• £50,000 for legal advice
• £250 for loss of passport or driving licence

For £5.50 per person for five day European cover (bookable both online and via Direct Travel’s call centre on 0845 605 2500), Gold Standard Cover includes all the benefits of Bronze Standard Cover plus the following:

• £3,000 for cancellation
• £500 personal money
• £1,500 for personal possessions
