There has been a confirmed case of H1N1 flu virus in Portugal. There are also reports of confirmed human cases in Spain, which shares a border with Portugal. The Portuguese authorities have placed quarantine measures in place for any passenger arriving by air or sea who has any flu symptoms to be kept under observation for 10 days.
