Bomb explodes on bus

A homemade bomb exploded on a passenger bus that was parked at a bus terminal in Digos City on 1 September 2008. Although government troops have recently been fighting Moro Islamic Liberation Front rebels in the Mindanao region, no one has claimed responsibility for the explosion. Six people were killed and 27 others were injured in the incident.
