Summit in Lima will affect tourists

From 16 to 23 November 2008, Lima is host to the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit. During the course of the Summit, you should be prepared for road closures and detours in Lima, disruption to public services and a shortage of hotel rooms and regular tourist services. Anyone travelling to Lima during this week should confirm hotel bookings before travelling.
