Dr's strike has paralysed health care industry

Doctors affiliated with the state Peruvian Medical Federation (FMP) -- who have been on strike since 15 September over a wage dispute -- declared on 17 September 2008 that their civil action is proving successful and that they will continue the strike until the government provides health care workers with a reasonable proposition for ending the dispute.
