SIX KILLED IN ATTACK ON SECURITY FORCES CONVOY

At least six people have been killed in an explosion in the Shangla district near the Swat valley in north-west Pakistan. The explosion hit a security forces convoy as it was passing through a market in Alpurai, the attack happened at a crossroads in the market. Dozens are said to have been injured in the explosion including a number of security personnel. There are fears the death toll could rise considerably.
