SECURITY INCREASED IN ISLAMABAD

Islamabad Police have increased security in the F-6 and F-7 sectors of the capital. The new security preparations extend beyond the "Red Zone," which includes sensitive areas near government buildings and foreign embassies that already have heightened security. Police officers have established new security checkpoints in the city and have activated a Quick Response Unit (QRU) to handle emergency situations.
