MONSOON CAUSES HEAVY FLOODING IN KARACHI

Local media reported that heavy flooding in Karachi killed at least 33 people. The flooding also injured at least 70 other people. Most of the casualties were caused by building collapses and electrocution. Traffic was halted in at least two locations when the flooding caused bridges to collapse.
