Construction worker abducted from a construction site outside of Port Harcourt

A Lebanese construction worker was abducted from a construction site outside of Port Harcourt in the Niger Delta region on the morning of 3 November 2008. The man was working for an engineering company on a road project in the suburb of Choba. Local police officials have stated that they are in pursuit of the perpetrators. No group has claimed responsibility for the kidnapping, and no further details have been reported.
