Cabin crew strike enters second day
08 May 2009
As the work stoppage of Air New Zealand cabin crews entered a second day, approximately 60 flight attendants made a picket line outside the airline's offices in central Auckland. Airline managers have avoided major flight disruptions by using last-minute replacement cabin crews. The flight attendants' union warned that members will also stage a picket line outside the main passenger terminal at Auckland Airport on the 8th of May and again on 10th of May.
