Bomb threat holds up plane

Officials held a Transavia passenger aircraft for five hours on the runway at Rotterdam Airport (EHRD/RTM) on 26 August 2008. The aircraft was scheduled to take off with 110 passengers for Bodrum, Turkey, when officials received a phoned threat about a possible hijacking of the aircraft. No explosives or other weapons were found during a search, but two passengers were later questioned and their home searched in connection with the incident.
