Video arcade explosion kills one person

An explosion at a video arcade in Casablanca, the economic capital, on 11 March 2009 killed one person and injured six others. The explosion occurred at approximately 0845 local time on the Boulevard Joulane located in a Casablanca suburb. Local residents claimed that the explosion was caused by a bomb; however, government officials indicated that it was a gas explosion and not a terrorist attack.
