PILOTS AT ROYAL AIR MAROC TO STRIKE SOON

On 6 July 2009 pilots of the Moroccan Association of Airline Pilots (AMPL) announced that a series of strikes is planned for the coming days as part of an ongoing salary dispute between the union and the administration of the national Royal Air Maroc airlines. AMPL representatives indicated that the administration has not upheld an August 2008 agreement. A press conference is scheduled for 9 July during which AMPL representatives will lay out impending strike measures. Exact dates for the impending strike measures have not yet been specified
