Flight disruptions due to ash cloud

In Morocco, aviation authorities shut down Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport (GMMN/CMN), Rabat-Sale Airport (GMME/RBA), Tangiers' Ibn Battouta Airport (GMTT/TNG), Tetouan Airport (GMTN/TTU) and Essaouira's Mogador Airport (GMMI/ESU), as well as airports in Agadir, Tan-Tan and Guelmim. The facilities were initially expected to remain closed until 1200 UTC on 11 May, but the Ministry of Transportation has reportedly announced that the closures will be extended until at least 1800 UTC.
