Opposition Democratic Party win general election

The General Election Commission of Mongolia announced the results of the presidential election, declaring Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj from the opposition Democratic Party the winner with 51.24 percent of the vote. Former President Nambaryn Enkhbayar, from the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party took 47.44 percent of the vote. Enkhbayar conceded before the GEC announced the official results.
