Widespread traffic disruptions anticipated throughout Mexico City

On 30 January 2009 farmers will stage a large-scale march in Mexico City to demand that the government reduce the price of diesel fuel. The protest will begin at 1000 local time at the Agriculture Ministry. The farmers will then march to Los Pinos, the presidential residence. The farmers will hold a rally at the U.S. Embassy at 1300 local time, and will also march to Zocalo for a massive rally at 1600 local time.
