HURRICANE HITS BAJA CALIFORNIA PENINSULA

Hurricane Jimena yesterday struck Mexico's Baja California Peninsula between Puerto San Andresito and San Juanico. Jimena blew down trees and lamp posts in Loreto, and ripped off roofs in Ciudad Constitucion. No injuries reported anywhere in Baja California as a result of the storm. It has now been downgraded to a tropical storm.
