GOVERNMENT ISSUE STORM WARNING

The Mexican government issued a storm warning as Tropical Storm Patricia moved closer to the Baja California coast. Residents along the shoreline in the southern part of the peninsula have been advised to evacuate from low-lying areas and move into storm shelters. Port authorities in Cabo San Lucas have closed the port to all small watercraft and have advised beachgoers of dangerous surf conditions.
