ROCKET ATTACK TO AND FROM ISRAEL
11 Sep 2009
On 11 September 2009 three rockets were fired from southern Lebanon into northern Israel; the rockets reportedly landed in the western Galilee area, causing no damage or injuries. Israeli military personnel responded by firing as many as eight mortar shells into Lebanon toward Qlaileh -- located near the southern coastal city of Tyre -- from where the rockets were believed to have originated. There were no reports of damage in Lebanon.
