Travellers should exercise caution on Independence day - 12th December

Kenya celebrates its Independence Day anniversary on 12 December. Celebrations will be held throughout Nairobi with the largest event at Nyayo National Stadium. Significant travel disruption can be expected around the stadium, particularly on Mombasa and Langata Roads. There are indications that protests may be held on the day.
