Norwegian Embassy in Nairobi reports threat of attack against the embassy building

On 27 May 2009 the Norwegian Embassy in Nairobi reported that it has received e-mails threatening a terrorist type attack against the embassy building. The embassy and two media stations received e-mails stating that they were enemies of Islam and must be ready for "Alqaeda" attacks. The Norwegians have forwarded the e-mails to Kenyan police officials for investigation. The embassy declined further comment on the threats.
