Island still on Tropical Storm Watch

Jamaica is still recovering from the effects of Tropical Storm Gustav and some local road diversions remain in force. Drivers should exercise extreme caution and obey diversion signals. As of 8 September Jamaica is on a Tropical Storm Watch because of wind and rain associated with the effects of Hurricane Ike, but this will diminish as Ike moves away from the area. Both international airports are fully operational.
