FIRST SWINE FLU DEATH REPORTED IN JAMAICA

On 7 July 2009 Jamaican officials reported the first death resulting from the H1N1 swine flu outbreak. Authorities stated that a man died from the virus in an undisclosed hospital on 6 July; however, the location was not given. Thus far, 33 swine flu cases have been confirmed in Jamaica
