Earthquake hits part of Indonesia

A 7.0 magnitude earthquake has struck near the Islands of Talaud which are situated north of Sulawesi. The earthquake happened at around 0034 local time on the 11th February. A tsunami warning was issued but was later canceled. There have been several aftershocks and over 300 buildings have been damaged and at least 36 people were injured, some seriously.
