On 26 July 2008 police officers found another bomb in Bengaluru. The bomb was found near the Forum Mall and was defused shortly thereafter. It was found one day after seven explosions occurred in the city. It is unknown whether the bomb was meant to detonate the day before or if it was meant to be a new attack on the city. No one has yet claimed responsibility for the bombings.
